The closed factory in St. Petersburg of the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota may be transferred to the Russian state-owned company NAMI. Russian Minister Denis Manturov of Industry and Commerce said at a business conference on Thursday, according to state news agency TASS, that this is being considered. NAMI has previously taken over factories from Renault and Nissan.
