Russia is not allowed to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in May. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) made that decision on Friday afternoon after increased pressure from participating countries, including the Netherlands. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, more and more countries rallied behind a call for a boycott.
