Ukraine was attacked by Russia with 131 drones in the night from Monday to Tuesday, the Reuters news agency reported on the basis of the Ukrainian air force. The Air Force says it has downed 72 drones. As far as is known, the remaining 59 did not cause any casualties. Some buildings were damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has not yet responded to the attack. Russia itself has also refrained from commenting so far.
Russia regularly bombards Ukraine with drones, usually without major damage. Every now and then there is a large-scale attack aimed at Ukraine’s energy supply, using missiles in addition to drones. Last week, Ukraine launched an attack on Russia’s oil and arms industries, using more than two hundred drones.
