The situation in Ukraine
On the night of February 23-24, Russian forces invaded Ukraine. This happened after President Putin announced a “special military operation” in the Donbas. Explosions and missile strikes in the capital Kyiv are reported in several cities in eastern and southern Ukraine. There are also reports of a landing operation from the sea.
Advice to the Dutch
Do not travel to Ukraine. Are you in the country? Leave the country on your own if it is safe to do so. If this is not possible, find a safe place.
