Rummenigge sees chaos at Bayern Munich

Since BVB made a mistake, FC Bayern can regain the lead in the table on Sunday (3:30 p.m.) with a home win against bottom-placed Hertha BSC. By winning the championship, Munich could still avert the sporting worst case scenario and alleviate the ongoing crisis a little. Nevertheless, ex-professional Michael Rummenigge sees the club in serious trouble.

If coach Thomas Tuchel’s protégés do their duty, they would overtake Borussia Dortmund again. At the start of the 30th matchday in Bochum, the black and yellow were only 1-1.

But even if Bayern should greet them from the top again after the weekend, former Munich player Michael Rummenigge still sees a few problems on Säbener Strasse.

“One has the feeling that there is chaos on many levels and that everything only got worse with the change of coach, even if Tuchel is least responsible for it,” said the 59-year-old critically in an interview with “Sportbuzzer”.

In the Champions League and in the DFB Cup, the record champions failed in the quarter-finals, so the targeted triple was lost within a few days.

Now Thomas Müller and Co. only has the Bundesliga to prevent a completely untitled season. Nevertheless, the end of the season should be anything but positive…
