ERC has signed the second investiture pact with the PSOE in less than four years and knows that, from now on, the challenge will be to enforce each section of the agreement, which includes issues as important as the complete transfer of Rodalies to the Generalitat. This is why the Republican leader in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, has used Pedro Sánchez’s inauguration plenary session to launch the first warning that ERC will be demanding. He has done it with a harsh tone, which Sánchez himself has received with surprise: “Look at this chamber. Do you see any alternative to us? No, right? Don’t risk it, believe me.”
