Ruben Nicolai surprises with the good scores of his GTST replacement Ik Weet Er Alles Van. Doesn’t this game show really just deserve a spot in high season?
It remains incredibly painful for Good Times Bad Times: every year the soap series is surpassed by its summer replacement Ik Weet Er Alles Van with Ruben Nicolai. Although the soap opera has a sky-high budget and broadcasts in the high season, a much cheaper game show therefore has more viewers in the low season.
Ruben in top five
Ruben also managed to achieve a spot in the top five viewing figures yesterday: Ik Weet Er Alles Van is the last of the lot with a score of 676 thousand viewers and a 20 percent market share. Only the Achuurjournaal managed to attract more viewers at the same time, namely 1.3 million (40 percent). And also postponed, some more viewers will be added.
Viewing figure connoisseur Tina Nijkamp thinks it is a great achievement. “The top 25 including delayed viewing from last Friday is known and we see that Ruben Nicolai simply has the most viewers after the Journaal and Half Eight News. Wow! What a viewership hit I Know Everything Van ”, she writes on her analysis channel.
Time for promotion?
Tina thinks it’s time for a promotion. “If I were a broadcaster director, I would like to investigate what would happen if you programmed this quiz on RTL 5 just like De Slimste. So six weeks in the autumn at 8.30 p.m. every working day and six weeks in the spring every working day . In the summer it could then remain on RTL 4.”
This is really worth trying, says Tina. “Because given the scores, this quiz (with Ruben as presenter) could well have The Smartest potential.”
Koningsbrugge on 1
Last night’s prime-time winner was Kamp Van Koningsbrugge with 723 thousand viewers (20 percent) on NPO 1. This is followed by RTL 4’s Secret Duets with 648 thousand viewers (18 percent).
In the high season, the SBS 6 title Today Inside is often the most watched program on prime time, but the replacement Marcel & Gijs does a lot less well. Yesterday, 359 thousand people (10 percent) watched it.
