Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal has signed Portuguese national football player Ruben Neves from England’s Wolverhampton team.
Al-Hilal Club announced the signing of 26-year-old midfielder Neves.
It was claimed in the British press that the transfer took place with a transfer fee of 47 million pounds and a contract was signed with Neves until 2026.
Neves, who started his career in his country’s Porto team, transferred to Wolverhampton in 2017. The Portuguese player, who played 253 games for Wolverhampton, scored 30 goals.
In Saudi Arabia, where a large investment is made in football, the last champion Al-Ittihad transferred French Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante.
