‘The deck killer’ has a totally cinematic aesthetic and one narrative structure of ‘thriller’, in addition to graphic and sound material from the judicial and police archives that had never seen the light of day before and that provides valuable information to the story. The visual style, the types of shots and the staging are reminiscent of the great films of the 70s film noir directed by Don Siegel, Sidney Lumet or William Friedkin.

In addition to the three episodes, the ‘docuseries’, directed by Román Parrado with a script by Enric Álvarez and executive produced by Goroka, the producer of ‘Crims’ (with Guillem Cascante, Ruben Mayoral and Carles Porta in charge), will feature an extra transmedia chapter, as an epilogue, in which the criminal profile of the murderer is traced through expert analysis, and which will also be available, very soon, on RTVE Play.
