The address of the Radio Television of Andalusia (RTVA) has proposed holding two debates among the candidates for the Presidency of the Board on the days June 6 and 13at the beginning and the end of the electoral campaign for the regional elections of 19-J.
The proposal is included in the coverage plan of Canal Sur Radio and Television for upcoming Andalusian elections and it was announced this Wednesday by the general director of the regional chain, Juan de Dios Mellado, at the meeting of the board of directors of the public entity.
It has also been communicated to the political parties with parliamentary representation so that they can express their opinion on the advisability or not of these dates, including Adelante Andalucía, which does not have a parliamentary group, since its representatives are non-attached deputies.
If the proposal is definitively agreed upon, the candidates Juanma Moreno would attend the two debates (PP); John Swords (PSOE) and Juan Marin (Citizens), as well as the candidates Macarena Olona (vox), immaculate grandson (For Andalusia) and Teresa Rodríguez (Forward Andalusia).
According to RTVA, Canal Sur Televisión offers two network debates with the candidates for the Presidency of the Andalusian Government by the political forces that obtained representation in 2018 and will be held at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6 and 13. with a format similar to that of previous electoral appointments.
The debates would be broadcast simultaneously on Canal Sur Radio, the CanalSurMas platform and Canal Sur 2 with translation into sign language.
It also offers the recording and subsequent broadcast of eight debates in respective provincial disconnections, one for each Andalusian province, to which candidates of the political forces with representation in the Andalusian Parliament would be invited, whose broadcast would be on Friday, June 10 .
In addition, the public entity offers parties 30-minute interviews with the candidates for the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucíawhich would be broadcast in prime time after the news program “Canal Sur Noticias 2”, interviews that would be held on June 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16.
This coverage plan must have the approval of the Electoral Board of Andalusia before its final approval by the regional network’s board of directors.
