‘RTL Boulevard star Lex Uiting has really sunk so low’

Lex Uiting made it all this week headlines with his interview with Danny de Munk. He spoke to the folk singer on behalf of RTL Boulevard. The conversation was about the rape report that was made against him. Danny says he has nothing to do with criminal offenses, but he confesses to having cheated on him.

ugly cup

It was not to be seen, says NPO star Gijs Groenteman in the podcast Another Day† “You know who I think has also sunk so incredibly low? You had that kid who used to be Jackal and he also presented Kids for Kids. He has been Prince Carnival and he always makes those ‘funny’ items at RTL Boulevard. Lex Expression.”

Colleague Marcel van Roosmalen: “That doesn’t make me feel good, with that roguish cup. A kind of skewer on the cake. What is that saying.”

‘Really pathetic!’

Marcel doesn’t like the whole scandal about Danny. “I am not going to delve into Danny de Munk’s private life at all. I also think anyone who indulges in it is pathetic. Really pathetic. That you feel the need to interfere in Danny de Munk’s marriage.”

He continues: “I don’t care if he cheated on him or not, but Lex Uiting thinks it’s preferable to have someone crying in front of him whose marriage is apparently in ruins and then you question it with questions like: ‘What did you do? that with you?’”

stupid questions

Lex asked really stupid questions, says Marcel. “Then he asks the question: ‘Because your children didn’t know that daddy was cheating?’ That’s a ridiculous question, isn’t it?”

He continues: “No, because when you’re cheating, you come home and you say, ‘Guys, come here for a minute. Now daddy is going to say something crazy. Dad was at a party in Hilversum and he sent all kinds of messages to a strange lady. (…) Of course I took off my pants and did all kinds of crazy things.’”

Lex ‘fucking’ Expression

It is unbelievable, Gijs thinks. “The whole gossip journalism is starting to develop into a kind of cheating police. A kind of cops who come and pat people on the fingers because they cheated and how they feel about it now.”

He continues: “It’s kind of a popular target and people seem to love to watch it, to see someone bend over backwards to say sorry and repent in front of Lex fucking Utterance.”
