After an eight-year break, it was time again this year: At the end of April 2022, the sixth album by the Norwegian duo Röyksopp was released as the first part of the concept trilogy “Profound Mysteries I-III”. Four months later, on August 19, the second part of “Profound Mysteries” was released. The third part will be released on November 18th. The trilogy should capture the sound of the world and the future in terms of sound.
Royksopp and Apple
Most Apple users came into contact with a Röyksopp song a few years ago. Specifically, this is the track “Eple” (Norwegian for “apple”), which is played as a welcome melody after the successful installation of the operating system in Apple products.
Röyksopp have been creative since they were founded in 1997
The duo is best known for their multimedia concerts and their electronic sound. What is special about the electronic sound is that Röyksopp mostly use analog sounds in the production of their songs and do without many digital sounds.
Exclusive show in Germany and world tour
From November Röyksopp will go on a world tour up to and including March. An exclusive Germany show will take place in Berlin on February 23, 2023. Tickets are on sale from Friday, October 14 (10 a.m.) in advance.
