Rianne Kooijman from Peize was appointed Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau this morning.
Kooijman has been involved as a volunteer since 1989 in the organization of the open studio route, which attracts about a thousand visitors each year. The route was first in the municipality of Peize and since 2002 in the municipality of Noordenveld.
She is also involved in the Kunstencentrum K38 in Roden and Verkuno, the interest group of visual artists and designers in the municipality of Noordenveld.
Kooijman received the ribbon from Mayor Klaas Smid van Noordenveld.
