Roy Donders from Tilburg has once again found happiness in love. He previously lost his heart to men, this time he is head over heels in love with a woman, Michelle from Eindhoven. “We are very happy and everyone should know,” the singer said on Instagram.
In the latest edition of Privé, Roy confirms that he has a new girlfriend. He met Michelle when he was on holiday in Greece last year. Michelle was still in a relationship at the time and Roy hadn’t expected to like women too. “That couldn’t be possible at all, could it?” he thought.
‘Sleepless nights’
In the end, the two couldn’t get over their feelings for each other. They have been together since Christmas. The stylist admits that he has had “sleepless nights sharing the news with those around him.”
Marvin, Roy’s ex-boyfriend, reacts with surprise at the news. “In my experience, Roy is 100 percent gay,” he told Shownieuws on Wednesday.
According to him, it could well be that Roy has a wish to have children. “I think he was like yes… with a man it is of course also possible these days, but that is of course not really ‘personal’.”
