Roularta is investing 4.5 million euros in a printing company
Roularta – the publisher of Knack and Trends, among others – claims to have the largest offset printing company in the Benelux. At its home base in Roeselare, the group has six modern printing presses where it prints newspapers and magazines for both the Belgian and foreign markets.
The company is now investing 4.5 million euros in new drying ovens for three magazine presses. These are more efficient copies that will reduce the gas and electricity consumption of the printing company by 25 percent and 5 percent respectively. The intervention reduces the CO2 emissions of the entire group by 14 percent, it says.
A magazine press that Roularta started using in 2020 already had a more efficient drying oven.
