The likes of Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Queens of the Stone Age, Blur, Burna Boy and Lil Nas X have already been confirmed for this year’s Roskilde Festival. The full line-up has been known since Thursday (March 30).
Joining those already named are Loyle Carner, Latto and Yung Lean, among others. The new headliner Lizzo will close the event on Saturday, July 1st on the “Orange Stage”. According to the organizers, this booking in particular transports the message of this year’s edition. It has the motto “Utopia”. “Our main goal with this year’s program is to demonstrate that change is possible, to give hope and to inspire action in a world facing great challenges,” it said.
The “Art & Activism” program, which is not purely musical, was also increased again.
The 51st edition of Northern Europe’s largest festival will take place in Roskilde near Copenhagen from June 24th to July 1st.
It is co-organized by 30,000 helpers and is non-profit. All profits from the event are traditionally donated to cultural, charitable and humanitarian causes. The focus is on helping children and young people in particular.
