Liksom says that he had only one condition for Juho Kuosmanen, who directed the film, to relinquish the rights to the original work – he wanted tickets to the premiere.

Eventually, a surprising message came to Liksom.
– And so it happened! There were tickets for the premiere, but they came to Cannes, Liksom glows.
The screenplay, which differs from the original work, and the end result seen on the screens have reaped worldwide fame. It was awarded the Grand Prix in Cannes, among other places.
The film was co-written by director Juho Kuosmanen together Andris Feldmanisin and Livia Ulmanin with.
– A movie is so much better than a book! It was really exciting to go see it when I didn’t know anything about it, Liksom praises.
He explains how Actors Seidi Haarla and Yuri Borisov did great role-playing in the film.
– The two of them are really great, radiant, credible human figures, he adds.
The film takes place in Russia and the current world situation makes Liksom wish for peace and disarmament.
– Of course, I am extremely disappointed that this is where the situation has gone. I’m a pacifist, I don’t support war. I believe that guns do not build peace.
