Suppose you are three years old and the Queen comes to visit you around the corner. Then of course you’re crazy if you don’t immediately dive into your wardrobe to choose your most beautiful princess dress. Rosa (3) from Eindhoven waited like an angel for the queen: “Oh, what a beautiful lady!”
Máxima paid a working visit to the designers in the NUL ZES building in Eindhoven on Thursday. “Coincidentally I was free”, mother Kelly Mansvelders begins to tell. Rosa’s exuberant singing can be heard in the background. Her day can clearly not go wrong. “I told Rosa that the Queen might like to get a drawing.” So Rosa colored a beautiful Mickey Mouse picture for her.
“We were first behind the car with which Máxima arrived. As a result, handing over just didn’t work out, but I also think that Rosa actually found it too exciting at the time.”
Fortunately, while waiting, the nerves can subside a bit. Breathless, the little princess stands at the window of the ZERO SIX building. When the queen comes out again, she walks in a straight line towards Rosa and her drawing.
“Máxima was really sweet. She insisted on knowing her name and said she was a beautiful princess.”
Máxima asked for the young princess’s name, but then it remained a bit quiet. Because when the queen suddenly stands in front of you, those kinds of questions suddenly become complicated. “I just told her that her name is Rosa,” laughs mother Kelly. “Máxima was really sweet. She insisted on knowing her name and said she was a beautiful princess. That’s great for Rosa, she was radiant.”
Unfortunately, after the Queen has received the coloring page, she has to quickly get into her car. But to thank Rosa one more time, Máxima proudly holds the paper against the window.
“I just gave a drawing!”
“I just gave a drawing!” little Rosa giggles in enthusiasm when she comes home. Her day can’t go wrong. She never wanted to take off her princess dress anyway, especially now.
