Roope Hintz as the hero of Dallas

The Finnish star of Dallas Stars sank the Washington Capitals.

Dallas Stars, who are chasing a place in the playoffs, took a big win by knocking out the Washington Capitals 3–2 goals.

The number one star in the stars and match was Roope Hintzwho finished the second and third goals of his team with superiority.

Hintz took the Stars to a 2-0 lead at the end of the opening round by running away Jason Robertson from the feed. The knuckle cupping in the back corner surprised Vítek Vaněčekin. Hintz finished the winning 3–1 hit right after the middle of the second set. The winning goal for Hintz was the sixth of the season.

Joel Pavelski scored for both Hintz hits.

Hintz played the previous three matches without power points and the previous eight games without a goal.

Hintz have collected 51 (25 + 26) power points in 59 matches and is the second best scorer for the Stars after Robertson (30 hits). Hintz has already broken his one-season goal and point record.

Alongside Gretzky

Capitals’ controversial paint cannon Alex Ovetshkin kicked off the start of the second round with the superiority of their 40th goal of the season and rose to split Wayne Gretzkyn with an NHL record of at least 40 goals per season.

Both have reached the borderline 12 times. Gretzky did it in his 20-season career nine times at the Edmonton Oilers and three times at the Los Angeles Kings.

Ovetshkin has also played for 17 seasons in the Capitals. Through the NHL, Gretzky is the best scorer of all time, Ovetshkin is Gretzky’s (894 goals) and Gordien Howen (801) third with 768 hits.

The Capitals are 13 points ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the final playoffs in the East. Stars is a point west of the Vegas Golden Knight at the last playoff spot and has played three games less than the Knights.
