The police suspect that the fire that destroyed a bus from a Bossche roofer in Nuland on Sunday evening has been lit. The van burned out completely. According to witnesses, a dark car drove just after the fire.
The bus was parked in the parking lot of football club Nulandia on Duyn and Daelseweg in Nuland. On Sunday evening around half past six, a fire broke out at the bus. The smoke could be seen from far away.
The police announced on Monday that after investigation there is ‘probably’ arson.

The van is from a roofer from Den Bosch. Vehicles of roofers in Den Bosch were more often the target of explosions and arson in the past year. 25 attacks took place in seven months.
According to the police, each incident is investigated individually and, where necessary, connections with other things are considered. For now it does not seem that Sunday’s fire is related to the roofer war. “For now there is no reason to link up earlier cases,” the spokesperson said.
