Roof of Den Bosch stadium not resistant to storm, supporters moved

The roof of the East stand of Stadium De Vliert in Den Bosch is not resistant to a storm. If the wind blows harder than force 7, the roof is unsafe. For that reason, fans of FC Den Bosch will probably not be able to watch the match against Jong PSV from the M-Side on Friday evening. That reports DTV News.

In the run-up to this season, the FC Den Bosch stadium still came out positive from a safety test. But additional research shows that the seventy-year-old East Stand does not comply with current laws and regulations, know DTV News. That research was conducted to see if solar panels could be installed on the roofs.

As a precaution, it has therefore been decided not to use the stands if the wind blows harder than wind force 7. If the match continues on Friday despite storm Eunice, the supporters of the M-Side may be moved to the South stand. The club is trying to make the stands completely safe again within four months.

The east stand of the stadium was also not allowed to be used in 2017, because its construction turned out to be not safe enough.

Match decision
Due to storm Eunice, it is not yet clear whether the game will be played at all on Friday evening. A decision will be made on this on Friday.
