A fire broke out in the ridge of a detached house on the Krakeel in Noordscheschut last night around a quarter past two. The fire brigade responded with two tankers and an aerial platform. The fire was brought under control at around three o’clock.
The residents were already outside when the fire brigade arrived. They are doing well considering the circumstances. The Drenthe Safety Region could not indicate whether they would be able to move into their home again tonight.
Nothing is yet known about the cause of the fire.
