Ronnie O’Sullivan celebrates the World Snooker Championship, once again. O’Sullivan struck in the final that settled Monday night Judd Trumpin 18–13.

The championship was seventh in O’Sullivan’s 46th career. He rose to the top of modern championship statistics Stephen Hendryn chest.

“I’ve never set a record,” O’Sullivan told the BBC.

– I’m just trying to enjoy playing.

O’Sullivan finished second in the tournament. He dropped on his championship trip David Gilbertin, Mark Allen, Stephen Maguiren and John Higginsin without much effort.

– Ronnie has taken snooker to new heights. I’m actually surprised it took so long before he got seven wins, Hendry commented on the BBC.

– He’s a winning machine. He says records aren’t important, but I’m sure he won’t be happy until he gets an eighth.

The World Cup stage was the familiar Sheffield Crucible Theater.
