Ronnie O’Sullivan won on Sunday in the final of the Shanghai Masters tournament By Luca Brecel 11 to 9. He is not going to keep the prize for himself.

– I’m giving the trophy to my friend, who is about to open a club here in China. I’m not interested in awards, O’Sullivan said after the final for the Daily Mail.

– I always give them away. With my friend Paul’s there is one, I gave one to the child in the stands.

The sports legend intends to give up all his trophies.

– I don’t want me to have mementos when I’m 70 or 80 years old. I’m preparing to die – that’s why I don’t want to play snooker, everything goes, O’Sullivan said.
