– It might have been the only time of day that Depp was alone. It was such a five minute slot. He was the only one with his father who was on that side, Vartiainen tells Iltalehti.

– It was about three minutes.

When making the release, Vartiainen first wondered if it would be worthwhile to label the Hollywood star at all.

– There have been quite a lot of likes and followers. There have been messages from Depp fans.

Vartiainen says he talked to Depp during a short meeting about “these”. He describes this as warm and considerate.

– He was a really nice guy and almost normal.

According to Vartiainen, Depp was also interested in the Stadin Stuff band, where Vartiainen plays together with his father.

– We talked about music and what. It was such a conversation between three musicians. True normative. He likes to tell his own stuff, Vartiainen describes.

The musician’s own performance experience at the event was also unique.

– The real main performer of the evening is one of the most legendary guitarists ever, Vartiainen says.

Vartiainen says he was hopeful of Depp’s meeting in advance, but still considered it quite unrealistic.

– I haven’t heard others meet him. Pretty unique experience, I guess.

According to Vartiainen, the meeting was a lucky and justified coincidence.

– There was a better chance to meet him than those who do not have a passport to the area. In that sense, it was well deserved, he’s just a musician playing in another band after all.
