Cristiano Ronaldo will soon tell his story about his situation at Manchester United. The Portuguese star of the English club announced this on Instagram.
“In a few weeks I will give an interview to explain how it is,” says the attacker. “The media tells lies. I kept a notebook and in the last few months only five out of a hundred messages about me were true.”
According to many British media, the 37-year-old Ronaldo wants to leave United despite an ongoing contract. Because of his behavior he would be bad in the group and often lunch alone at the club. Ronaldo is also said to have a bad relationship with his new trainer Erik ten Hag. United lost the first two league games of the new season. Liverpool will be the next opponent of the current bottom of the Premier League next Monday.
Former player Gary Neville does not understand why Ronaldo will only come out in a few weeks. “Why does the best United player ever have to wait two weeks to tell his fans the truth?” he said. “Now stand up and speak. The club is in a major crisis and needs leaders. He is the only one who can handle the situation.”
