Ronald Molendijk decided years ago to stop reading the AD in protest against Angela de Jong’s critical columns. “Because she always pisses me off,” said the Erland bestie.
It is unbelievable how distressing the shortage of resilience is in Hilversum. Ronald Molendijk is now completely furious: in principle he no longer reads the AD because Angela de Jong has been critical of him a few times. “This Angela de Jong is the reason I no longer read the AD, because Angela de Jong always pisses me off.”
Ronald angry
Always? When the hell was Ronald last relevant enough to make it to Angela’s column? According to the Shownieuws expert himself, it happens all the time. “At some point you’re also done reading about yourself that it’s all shit what you do,” he wails in the show section on SBS 6.
Does he think, like Gordon, that Angela should be called back by the editor-in-chief of the AD? No, Ronald is going too far again. “I’m fine with it and we live in the Netherlands, so I defend it wholeheartedly: do what you have to do.”
“Not objective!”
He does think that Angela lacks objectivity. “If you are a TV critic, I find two things striking: you are on television very often and if you are part of something at a certain point, I find it quite difficult to look at it objectively from the outside .”
He continues: “I also miss the review in such a piece (about Gordon, ed.). I haven’t read it, but I’m listening.”
Ah, don’t read the review, but make a judgment about it. What expertise at the Shownieuws desk.
Bart agrees
Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven also has doubts about Angela’s objectivity: “It is very difficult for her to write an objective review about a Jinek or about a VI while you are there yourself.”
Top photographer William Rutten resolutely: “She does.”
This comment from Bart is of course a bit embarrassing. Together with the bosses of the two other major tabloids, he was put under contract with Talpa to keep Linda, John and Johnny out of the wind. No, that’s pretty objective.
Ronald is standing in the sun:
