Matias Vina had come to Rome as a champion of the Copa Libertadores with Palmeiras and after being followed for a long time also by Milan. A costly operation, worth about 13 million plus a percentage on future resale, which had created so many expectations among the fans. But the contribution of the Uruguayan full-back was not memorable, so much so that both Josè Mourinho and Tiago Pinto consider him absolutely transferable.
THE SITUATION – The sale of Matias Vina to Galatasaray did not materialize only for reasons of timing. The Uruguayan had given the green light to the operation which was not completely skipped but only postponed. In fact, Rome and Galatasaray have already agreed to finalize the details in the January market.
