Rome, two Brighton fans attacked: stabbed in the legs

After the attack, the two boys asked a restaurateur for help and are currently hospitalized in two hospitals in the city

Night of fear for two Brighton fans attacked in Rome, where they arrived to support their team playing today, Thursday 7 March, at 6.45pm at the Olimpico stadium against Roma for the round of 16 of the Europa League.

How the two Brighton fans were attacked

Shortly after midnight the employee of a restaurant via Monte Polacco in the Monti area, near the Cavour metro stop along Line B, he called the police and said that two young Englishmen had entered his place asking for help. The 28 and 29 year old boys told the agents of the Viminale police station that they had been attacked after an argument which took place shortly before in via Cavour.
