The Giallorossi supporters have decided with a poll how to call the she-wolf who will join their “colleague” Romulus
Romulus can no longer complain of loneliness. And this time his brother Remo has nothing to do with it – according to the mythological tradition – but an almost homonymous colleague, Romina. We talk about Rome understood as a football team and not as a city and we talk about the mascot, not the founder of the Italian capital. Closing here the obvious alliteration in honor of the former beating heart of the most famous empire in European history, last week the Giallorossi club chose to ask their fans what name to give to the “puppet” who will join the wolf cub already active for several time. Four options on the fan token app, among which Romina was elected.
The winner

“Romina is a strongly evocative name of the Eternal City, it means ‘inhabitant of Rome’ or even ‘citizen of the Roman Empire'”. This is how the winning name was explained on the digital token platform, to explain its origin. And 45.4% of the electorate clicked on Romina, preferred to Livia, Flora and Ersilia in order of clicks accumulated in the pre-established period of time. The new mascot, a she-wolf, is therefore now ready to inaugurate his new assignment in the service of the reigning Conference League champions. Romolo and Romina, doesn’t even sound bad.
