Rome, Kardsorp operated: return scheduled in 6 weeks

While waiting to know exactly the conditions of Dybala and Pellegrini, Rome “celebrates” (so to speak) the positive outcome of the meniscus operation which Rick Karsdorp underwent today. The Dutchman was injured during the match against Helsinki, adding to Mourinho’s long list of unavailable players. The operation, performed at the Klinik Gut directed by Dr. Georg Ahlbäumer, was perfectly successful. Recovery times are estimated to be around 6 weeks.

The Dutch full-back had left this morning for Switzerland on a private plane made available by the Friedkin family. The hope is to have it before the long winter break.
