Rome, from Perez to Villar: the starters

The company tries to recover that amount by selling a number of players. Veretout attempted by Marseille and Nice, Celta Vigo is on Perez. Of the group that remained in Trigoria, the thorniest case is that of Amadou who does not want to accept unwelcome offers

Carles Perez, Diawara, Villar, Kluivert, Veretout: over 10 million net salaries of which Roma wants to get rid of as soon as possible. With the necessary differences, of course: Carles Perez and Veretout are training with Mourinho, they have an impeccable attitude and the feeling is that, as soon as they find a team, they will leave. The Frenchman aims to return home (there is Marseille, in the last hours there has also been an interest from Nice), the Spaniard wants to go to Celta Vigo. Roma need to sell them either permanently or on loan with obligation redemption because it needs to monetize.

Who trains in Trigoria

The same goes for Villar: the Spaniard has a sustainable salary, around one million, and this makes negotiations easier. Negotiations with Monza had begun, but ran aground on the overall assessment: the two companies agreed on the formula (loan with obligation to redeem in the event of salvation), less on the bonuses and the final price of 10 million. So much so that Villar still trains separately with Diawara. Amadou is perhaps the thorniest case: he works in Trigoria alone, with a trainer and a technician made available by the company, as per the rules, and has no intention of accepting offers he does not like. He has a salary of over 2 million, net, until 2024 and the French, Turkish and Italian hypotheses are currently shipwrecked. He has just turned 25, apparently in no hurry to find a team and play: Roma hopes that the change of agent will facilitate his departure and hope that something will move in the next few days. Same goes for Kluivert: he trained with Mou the first week, then he stayed in Rome with Diawara and Villar. After two good seasons, at Nice in particular, he thought he would find a team more easily, but nothing has moved yet. In the last few hours, however, he has made up for it under Monaco. And Roma hopes it’s the right time: between the money collected and savings on the salary it would be a twenty million operation.
