Roma Stadium, agreement with the Municipality: it will take place in Pietralata

Stadio della Roma, we get to the heart. This morning the Giallorossi club and Roma Capitale have in fact published a joint note that formalizes the choice of the Pietralata area: “Following a series of joint meetings between the offices of the Capitoline administration and the technicians of AS Roma Spa held in recent months , Roma Capitale positively acknowledges the willingness of the Giallorossi club to present a feasibility study at the Campidoglio for the construction of a stadium on a municipal area in the Pietralata area in the coming weeks.

The initial urban planning examination carried out on the area identified by AS Roma did not in fact highlight any obstacles to the presentation of the aforementioned project which will be carefully evaluated by Roma Capitale according to the administrative procedure governed by the so-called stadium law (Article 1, paragraph 304 , L. 147/2013). There is great satisfaction, in the Municipality and in Trigoria, for this first official step. Now there is the whole process to follow but considering how Friedkins like to go fast, the feeling is that it will move forward quickly.
