In the UEFA Europa Conference League final, Roma won the cup by beating Feyenoord 1-0.
Organized for the first time this season, in the number three tournament of European football at club level, Italy’s representative Roma and Netherlands’ Feyenoord team met in the final in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
In the struggle that started with the midfield struggle, Roma found the goal in his first dangerous attack. Zaniolo, who made good use of the stage mistake made by the Feyenoord defense in the long middle of Mancini’s midfield to the penalty area in the 32nd minute, faced the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the net with a technical shot: 1-0.
After Feyenoord failed to develop an effective attack in the remaining minutes, Roma finished the first half 1-0 ahead.
Starting the second half fast, Feyenoord came very close to the goal in the 47th and 50th minutes.

Roma, who did not give an important chance to his opponent by defending well in the remaining minutes, won the final 1-0 and reached the cup.

Roma, who had no success in the European arena apart from the championship he won in the Fair Cities Cup in 1961, reached a happy ending for the second time after 61 years.
Jose Mourinho, the world-famous coach of Rome, became the first coach to reach the cup in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Europa League and finally the UEFA European Conference League.
Feyenoord, the winner of the 1970 UEFA European Cup, 1974 and 2002 UEFA Cups, could not take advantage of the 4th championship chance in the European arena.
