The Rolling Stones have been inspiring audiences for 60 years – and are now playing in Austria for the first time in five years. As part of their “Sixty Tour” they will be performing on Friday evening (July 15) in Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium.

The stadium gates open at 5 p.m., the local heroes are expected to open the evening at 6.30 p.m. The Stones are scheduled to perform shortly thereafter. We have all the information about the concert at a glance.

tickets

There are still a few tickets. From the normal standing room ticket for 139 euros to the VIP ticket for almost 600 euros – here are the tickets. According to the Austrian media, up to 56,000 fans are expected in Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium.

arrival

The organizer strongly recommends using public transport. You can easily reach the Ernst Happel Stadium. It is best to use the U2 subway line, which will take you directly to the concert. Simply get off at the Stadion stop. If you prefer to walk, you can also take the U3 to the Schlachthausgasse station. Then there is a 30-minute walk.

As an alternative, bus line 77A is also possible. Here, too, simply drive to the Stadion station.

weather

In Vienna it will be warm but cloudy. The sun will probably only appear occasionally, and cooler air can also draw into the city. However, it remains pleasantly warm for the concert-goers with a maximum of 28 degrees.
