On June 1st, the Rolling Stones celebrated the start of the European part of their “Sixty” tour in Madrid to mark the 60th anniversary of the band’s founding. In the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, where the Spanish football club Atletico Madrid actually plays, the Stones delivered a remarkable stage show lasting more than 135 minutes. In addition to the biggest hits, such as “Paint It Black” or “Satisfaction”, the Stones also played some surprises, such as the 1966 song “Out Of Time”, which they performed live for the first time ever. The Rolling Stones are now in Munich, where they will be performing on June 5th in the Olympic Stadium. We have all the information about the concert.
Inlet:
Admission to the Munich Olympic Stadium begins on June 5, 2022 at 5 p.m. Due to the large crowds, there may be longer queues, so the organizers recommend being there in good time. The concert itself is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Alternatively, tram lines 20 and 21 also go near the stadium (Olympiapark West station).
There are several paid parking spaces available for drivers on the site.

On the Pentecost weekend it should be summery warm in Munich. Up to 27 degrees are expected on Sunday. However, it could also be quite windy and there could be light rain showers in the evening with a still proud 19 degrees. So better pack a rain jacket.

Special Guest in Munich:
Incidentally, the heavy rock band Reef will be the opening act in Munich and Gelsenkirchen (July 27, 2022). The Brit band was founded in 1993 and also has a number one album in their repertoire with “Glow”. Her LP “Shoot Me Your Ace” was released recently.
Reef singer Gary Stringer commented: “Playing shows is just magical. You go on stage and unload all your energy into the audience and it comes right back. It’s a special feeling that makes every musician addicted and spurs them on to keep going, giving it their all and just rocking out. Being able to tour with the Rolling Stones is a dream come true for all of us and we couldn’t be happier to play with you in Munich. Germany – we will give everything and rock you!”
