Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood landed their plane at BER at 5:25 p.m. on Monday. On Wednesday, the rockers will be giving their “Sixty” anniversary concert at the Waldbühne.
As always, their plane was unmissable: the Rolling Stones landed at BER on Monday evening at 5:25 p.m. with a rented Boeing 767. On the machine their famous logo – the outstretched tongue!
The plane was parked across from Terminal 2. The engines had barely shut down when a convoy of dark-colored vans and limousines pulled up.
Of course, the three musicians don’t travel alone in the Boeing (in the regular configuration there is still space for 375 passengers), but also have their families with them as well as team members. Guitarist Ron Wood (75) is traveling with his wife Sally (44) and the twins Gracie Jane and Alice Rose (6).
From BER we went straight to Pariser Platz – the Stones stayed at the “Adlon”. However, passers-by did not notice the arrival of the world-famous rockers – the musicians were driven to the underground car park.
The Presidential Suite (185 square meters) was waiting for Mick Jagger (79). He appeared briefly at the window. A little later, Wood came out of the back door of the hotel with his family. Destination: the Italian “Viale dei Tigli” on the other side of Behrenstrasse.
The Wood family had obviously brought a lot of hunger with them. On the bill: Mozzarella alla Caprese (12.50 euros), several pizzas, Spaghettini del Personale (12.50 euros), dessert – a total of 170 euros. Wood generously rounded up to 200 euros!
The waiters didn’t recognize the famous Stones musician – which didn’t bother him. Ron Wood left in a good mood with the words: “Thanks, I’ll bring Mick tomorrow!“
