The British rock and roll band The Rolling Stones was first active in 1962. A year later the first single was released, come on , a Chuck Berry cover. Not long after, the second single followed I Wanna Be Your Man a song written especially for the Stones by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles.
Over the years, many more singles were added, including Gimme Shelter , Sympathy for the Devil , Angie , Paint It Black , (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction and Start Me Up . The number of studio albums now stands at 25 and the band members still perform, albeit in a different composition than in 1962. The original band members, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, still rock like in their younger days.
