Rolling Stone Weekly – the new pop podcast from ROLLING STONE! Every Friday we comment on the music news of the week, discuss scandals and excitement and discuss a brand new album. Jan Jekal moderates, Maik Brüggemeyer and Hella Wittenberg are present alternately – and sometimes a prominent guest. Jan and Maik start with a review of the new U2 album “Songs of Surrender”. (Spoiler: They have mixed feelings.) It’s also about the question of whether the White Stripes had a bad drummer, as read in a viral tweet (both agree: No!) and about a particularly nice Oscar acceptance speech.
