It doesn’t matter whether it’s in the numerous British post-punk bands or even in many acts of the Neue Deutsche Welle: traces of suicide can be found everywhere.
Alongside Alan Vega, Martin Rev also had a charismatic voice, but only played this pound with his solo career. His extensive work includes cool instrumental No Wave as well as synth rock and even bubblegum pop. Ballads are also part of his repertoire.
With “Clouds Of Glory” the musician recently released a purely instrumental album, but every live performance by Rev is a ride through the dazzling catalog of the singer. There will be a taster at the Silent Green in Berlin in December. Martin Rev’s only Germany concert is presented by ROLLING STONE. Tickets are only available at tickets.de.
