‘Rolling Loud Miami’ Tweet Sparks Album Speculation Among Kendrick Lamar’s Fans

On March 1st, Rolling Loud Miami announced the lineup for this year’s festival. In addition to the headliners Future and Ye (Kanye West), Kendrick Lamar is also scheduled to take his place on the stage on Sunday, July 24th and heat up his fans. Shortly thereafter, a tweet from “Rolling Loud” triggered a hype that made the hearts of many Kendrick Lamar fans beat faster for a short time.

The Rolling Loud account tweeted, to the excitement of fans, “Kendrick returning to Miami means exactly what you think it means. It’s been five long years.” The tweet caused numerous fans to speculate hopefully if Lamar has a new album in the pipeline.

But as the tweet became more and more popular, Rolling Loud deleted the post. An update followed with more precise wording: “It’s been 5 long years since Kendrick headlined Rolling Loud”.

The festival will feature 2 Chainz, $uicideboy$, Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty, Three 6 Mafia, Kodak Black and more. Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Rolling Loud’ festival appearance will be only his second confirmed this year. The rapper made his debut at the legendary Super Bowl 2022 halftime show alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg.

In 2021, Lamar announced that he would produce his final album with Top Dawg Entertainment. He wrote on Instagram: “As I produce my last TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural impact after 17 years. Difficulties. The success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for honest creators. As I continue to pursue my life purpose. The beauty is in the perfection. And always the belief in the unknown. Thank you for thinking of me. I have prayed for you all. See you soon.”
