After a gig by the Schlager star in Cottbus, the police received several reports of alleged knockout drops in drinks.
After a concert by pop singer Roland Kaiser in Cottbus, Brandenburg, several reports of poisoning from knockout drops were received by the authorities. A total of six people reported to the police. It is still unknown who is responsible for the alleged crime.
Concert-goers felt uncomfortable after drinking
The appearance of Ronald Keiler, as Kaiser is called by birth, took place on June 23 in the city in eastern Brandenburg. About 10,000 fans attended the Schlager gig in Spreeauenpark. A week after the concert, the Cottbus police authorities received the first report. According to information from “BZ”, there are now five women and one man who have reported the alleged secret administration of knockout drops.
All six concert-goers stated that they felt strange after consuming only a small amount of alcoholic beverages. The people would have bought all the drinks at the official serving stands and drunk them on the concert grounds. After just a few sips, subjects suffered from malaise and memory lapses. A proof of the drops in the blood of the alleged victims was no longer possible because the body excretes the substance after eight to twelve hours.
Even before the ads were posted, there were comments on social media about incidents of this kind at the Roland Kaiser concert. A Facebook user described, for example, that after one and a half glasses of wine, she had to leave the performance because she was unwell. The next morning she would have had huge memory gaps. The police are now investigating the assault. The concert organizer Semmel Concerts Entertainment GmbH is also trying to clarify. However, no incidents of narcotics were reported to the on-site medical service during the concert.
