Mission accomplished for Andrea Vavassori and Giulio Zeppieri, engaged in the decisive qualifying round at Roland Garros. The two Azzurri managed to hit the main draw of the Parisian Grand Slam, catching up with the other six compatriots: Jannik Sinner, Lorenzo Musetti, Lorenzo Sonego, Fabio Fognini, Marco Cecchinato and Matteo Arnaldi. The first to qualify during the day was Zeppieri, who thanks to a solid performance got rid of the Portuguese Frederico Ferreira Silva (n.225 Atp), with the score of 6-4 6-1 gained in one hour and 24 minutes. The 3-2 break made the difference in the first set for the 21-year-old from Latina, while in the second set there was no story with three breaks in a row in favor of him. Vavassori, on the other hand, struggled with the Chilean Alejandro Tabilo before managing to close the practice with a double 6-4, gained in one hour and 23 minutes of play.
