Rogier really doesn’t think it’s possible, he tells the New Revu. “Did he approach other men for sex based on the identity of those three men? I think that’s bad. I’m on Grindr too and I might understand why he did it. He is a celebrity and does not want to use his own face.”
He continues: “I wonder if he only used someone else as a profile photo, but told the truth in any subsequent contact.”

To answer: no, according to the complainants, Tim has structurally and persistently pretended to be them, not just through the profile photo. While posing as the other men, he is said to have had very extreme conversations. The victims are confronted with this in daily life.
