Roeselare donates generators to Ukraine

Roeselare thus follows the call of the European Parliament and Eurocities, a network of more than two hundred cities in Europe. The federal government collects the generators and transports them to Ukraine.

The campaign is co-promoted by Tom Vandenkdelaere, Roeselare councilor and member of the European Parliament: “In times of harsh winter temperatures and daily bombing of electricity infrastructure, generators make the difference for the people in Ukraine. The people of Roeselare show their heart with this, and help make the difference. ”

In Roeselare they are now also receiving more than 250 refugees from Ukraine.
