The Roeselaarse Paterskerk has 140 years of history, but the church was deconsecrated seven years ago. In recent years, the Paterskerk has been given many different uses. The Koers cycling museum even found shelter there for a while, but now things are different. A project developer is now breathing new life into the vacant church.
“We plan to turn this religious site into a so-called mixed program. There will be a multi-family home for people with disabilities, ten studios in a new construction volume and in addition we will repurpose the church and the monastery into an office space,” says Tessa Van Gucht of Triginta.
