It is becoming increasingly clear that Eva Jinek is anything but a team player. Even her own sidekick Roelof Hemmen did not even receive a call from the presenter.
Eva Jinek mainly focuses on herself in the television world. Now that she has announced her return to public broadcasting, it is painfully clear exactly how much she values her colleagues: very little. One RTL 4 colleague after another admits that they really haven’t heard from Eva at all.

Whether it concerns Beau van Erven Dorens, Humberto Tan or Peter van der Vorst: they have all been briefly informed by Eva. And even her own sidekick Roelof Hemmen appears to have only had a text message.
Roelof was sitting at Humberto’s table last night. “Roelof, before we start talking about that (about Johnny Cash, ed.): you are back for the first time since Eva left. Do you miss it a little?”
‘Yes, I miss it’
Roelof then admits: “Yes, yes… I especially notice that now that I am here again and see everyone again. This completely renovated studio. I have a feeling of nostalgia. It was really fun.”
Humberto: “What do you do with your lost time now?”
Roelof: “Well, I’ve been off for two months, I haven’t been bored for a second, so it’ll be fine, right? I had a nice life and I’m having a nice life again, but it was really great.”
Unexpected
Humberto asks Roelof if he had any idea that Eva was leaving RTL. “It was unexpected for you too, right? When Eva left.”
Roelof then seems to bite his tongue: “Totally, yes. Well, that… Yes… Well, I want… It was a shock, yes…”
Humberto: “Have you had any contact with her?”
Roelof is careful: “Yes, we texted.”
‘Is it good?’
Humberto hears from the way Roelof says this that there is some discomfort. “Are we okay?” he asks.
Roelof hesitantly: “Yes. I think so. Yes, I think so. I think she made an excellent choice. If it’s good for her…”
Humberto: “Is Roelof Hemmen also likely to move to public broadcasting?”
Roelof: “I have no idea.”
‘Not asked’
Humberto: “Would you like that, Roelof Hemmen?”
Roelof: “Maybe so, Humberto.”
Humberto: “Did Eva ask you, Humberto?”
Roelof: “No, really not.”
Humberto: “Should I call her for you?”
Roelof: “Haha. It goes the way it goes.”
It is clear that Roelof better find a new hobby. That doesn’t even appear in Eva’s thoughts anymore…
