Hundreds of horses, ponies and dozens of merchants clapping hands. The Rodermarkt started early this morning.
Since half past five horses and ponies have been brought in to the center of Roden, where traders are trading the old-fashioned way. Despite the bad weather, the supply of the horses looks good. The market will also open later this morning.
The Rodermarkt is traditionally the highlight of the Rodermarkt Feestweek. There have been various events in the village since Friday. Tomorrow the week will be concluded with the short track harness racing in the center of Roden.
