Robin performed John Lennon’s world-famous Imagine at Yle’s support concert in Ukraine.

A number of well-known Finnish artists will take the stage on Saturday night at Yle’s Ukrainian support concert. One of the performers was Robinwho chose to have gained tremendous popularity over the years John Lennonin Imagine.
Just before the concert started, Robin told Iltalehti that there was excitement for him, especially because of his choice of songs. Despite the excitement, the performance went well and the performance was warmly received at the concert.
– First of all, I’ve never played John Lennon anywhere before. It’s quite a song, and I have a little pressure to inject better than John Lennon, Robin said with a twinkle in the corner of his eye before his performance.
– However, maybe there is no need to start creating a competitive situation here, he continued.

Although the artist already has a long and successful career behind him, he admitted that the world-famous song put additional pressure on him.
– I have chosen a great song, oh gentleman.
Robin said the song selection was easy in the end, even though he knew he was stepping into big boots.
– I thought it was a great song and kind of hope-creating, so it suits this world situation.
When Robin was asked to perform at the concert, she didn’t have to think twice about taking the opportunity.
– It’s wonderful to be here for a good cause with a large group here. And it’s been great to see through the discussions here on the ground that people have a desire to help and bring a little brighter mood to people through music.
