At the antipodes of the minister’s management method Julian Dominguez is your internal rival Robert Feletti. The Secretary of Commerce takes each of his affairs to the highest level of tension, both outside and inside the Casa Rosada.
His outbursts against businessmen for price increases and against the countryside for “speculators” are already a classic. But he also usually sends darts to the very government he represents. He assured that the uncontrolled inflation of the first quarter of 2022 “is the responsibility of the Minister of Economy.” And he advised Martin Guzman: “You have to lower clear lines of economic policy that reduce volatility and preserve popular income, otherwise this is going to get ugly.”
After criticism of the field, Feletti got all sorts of responses. “What she said is a lined one”, accused him Nicolás Pino, president of the Rural Society. And he added: “The only thing he does is take off the guilt he has for inflation to put it on others.” A round trip where the Secretary of Commerce feels comfortable.
